Public Insight Sessions 2019

Delve deeper with our Public Insight Sessions in the Audimax of the University of St. Gallen. With great speakers, participants can lean back, soak up the input and enjoy fresh insights into both current affairs and questions from ongoing debates in the fields of business and politics. Each Public Insight Session is open to the public, admission is free.

 
Special programme day that focusses entirely on the Leaders of Tomorrow of the St. Gallen Symposium. Selected corporate partners contribute to the programme of the first day, which focusses on AI and a brave new world of work.

10:00–10:15 Welcome and Introduction Jason George (US), three-time St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award winner, member of the St. Gallen Symposium global community, founder and Management Consultant of J.M. George, Inc.
10:00–12:00 AI Knowledge Place Senior executives and top-notch experts of ABB Ltd., Accenture, and Swiss Re share cutting-edge knowledge on AI and the future of work. They engage with the Leaders of Tomorrow in interactive Work Sessions. In the final 30 minutes, Leaders of Tomorrow present the key take-aways of each session in front of the plenum.

13:30–15:00 AI Ideas Place  The best student competitors of the St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award 2018 present their ideas & visions on “Robots are coming for your jobs. How do you augment yourself to stay economically relevant?” Participants support the student session leaders to expand on their visions.
15:00–15:30 Pitch & Vote 2-minute pitches of each session, voting on the best presentations to be challenged in the closing session.
16:00–17:15 Closing session The three very best ideas of the afternoon programme will be presented and discussed with senior leaders.
